The Hip Hop World is mourning after the loss of, Juice Wrld.

According to reports, Juice Wrld had just arrived in Chicago early Sunday morning when he suffered a seizure while walking through Chicago Midway International Airport. When paramedics arrived at the scene, Juice Wrld, real name, Jarad Anthony Higgins, was bleeding from the mouth. The rapper was transported by Chicago Fire to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the hospital, after being there for a short time. The cause of death is unclear currently.

This is truly unfortunate especially with the fact that Juice Wrld’s major-label career was just starting after he almost climbed to the top of the charts in 2018. His first huge hit came in summer 2018 with “Lucid Dreams” which made it to number two.

His song, “All Girls Are The Same”, also became a hit when Lil Yachty was featured on the remix and it was that song’s success that drew the attention of Interscope Records. They signed him to a multi-million-dollar contract.

It was noted by Higgins that he was a heavy drug user during his childhood and teens due to depression. He began drinking lean in the sixth grade and using Percocet and Xanax in 2013. Higgins also smoked cigarettes but decided to quit using drugs and smoking cigarettes in his last year of high school due to some health issues. Until his death, he only smoked cannabis.

Juice Wrld’s stage name was reportedly inspired by Tupac Shakur’s performance in the 1992 film, “Juice”.

RIP Jarad Anthony Higgins A.K.A. Juice Wrld
