When you think of worrying, it can refer to the thoughts, images, and the emotions of a negative nature in a repetitive, uncontrollable manner that results from a proactive cognitive risk analysis made to avoid or solve anticipated potential threats and their potential consequences. Worry is described as a response to a moderate challenge for when the subject has inadequate skills. Worry turns to be problematic if one has been excessively apprehensive more days than not for at least six months.
Worrying can also be associated with feelings of uneasiness or being overly concerned about a situation or problem. With excessive worrying, your mind and body can go into overdrive as you constantly focus on “what might happen.”, which can turn into an emotional buffer. A chaotic emotional time, that makes you feel like you´re about to lose your mind. Ever felt like you would “Cry out!”, or “act crazy!? That the situation you are living seems to be pulling you apart in every direction? Then this is the article for you.
Worrying can affect your daily living so much that it interferes with the appetite, lifestyle habits, relationships, sleep, and job performance. Many people who worry excessively are so anxiety-ridden that they seek relief in harmful lifestyle habits such as overeating, cigarette smoking, or using alcohol and drugs. These changes can produce sickness, depression, muscle tension, headaches, social isolation and insomnia which are the main causes to excessive worrying which resulted in a recent 2010 report by the National Center for Biotechnology Information, stating, that African-Americans were diagnosed with PTSD more than whites.
In order to get rid of this, I recommend you to let it go so you can free yourself from the worrying and the negative feelings that weigh you down. You may feel like life has gotten you down or you just can’t suffer anymore hurt but, in all reality, you must look at the brighter picture because God has woken you up today so, you can take that next step at making a greater chance at life.
The solution is to let go and move forward and follow these simple steps to change your mindset;
• See the beauty of things- Visualize the type of person that you want to be. Make steps daily to accomplish this goal.
• Dwell into positive thinking- Spend more time, thinking about the things that you like and love which brings forth acceptance and repair.
• Speak to yourself- Wake up, every morning with a smile, citing to yourself, I am special, I can do it, and I am releasing all the things that I cannot change to make a better me.
I know you might think this is moronic, but this reprograms your thoughts and mindset into positive thinking which deviates from the excessive worrying. Just try it for two weeks and you’ll see a new beginning in every that you do.
